The spring Benedictine College / Atchison Community Orchestra concert is expressly geared to families and children. Two pieces use live narrators to tell entertaining stories, and other music is very imaginative, too. The concert will close with an orchestral arrangement of Chuck Mangione’s Children of Sanchez—an exciting, soulful, jazz-rock-fusion piece. The concert is on Sunday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. in O’Malley-McAllister Auditorium on the Benedictine College campus. We hope many, including families, will put this event on their calendars!
