Muddy River Music Festival returns to the Atchison riverfront with a fantastic line up that includes Nashville recording artist Clare Dunn, Billboard top 5 blues artist Jeremiah Johnson, Kansas native red-dirt-style country music group Lazy Wayne Band, and The Burney Sisters with their folk/rock/indie sound.

The Muddy River Music Festival is FREE ADMISSION for 2022, but those who register for their entry pass prior to the event will be entered into a drawing to win one of ten 30-can backpack coolers filled with Locally Atchison gifts.
About the Festival
Our festival this year will use two stages set up along the beautiful riverfront in Atchison, allowing music to play continuously throughout the day from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, while listeners simply turn their chairs from one direction to the other. Multiple food trucks and local vendors will provide additional activities.
1:30-2:30 Kristin Hamilton
Kristin Hamilton is a Kansas City folk country singer songwriter whose voice has been described as one that "stirs the soul". Kristin's original music touches on topics of family & faith, grief & gratitude and will leave you with a warm heart.
2:30-4:00 The Burney Sisters
Olivia, Emma, and Bella Burney are a seismic sister trio with an ever-evolving folk/rock/Indie sound.
4:00-5:15 Ruddy & The Lost Boys
Ruddy & The Lost Boys is a music group that grew out of the Benning family, and is a favorite band of regional events and festivals.
5:15-6:45 Jeremiah Johnson
Jeremiah Johnson is an American blues singer, guitarist and songwriter. His music blends elements of St. Louis blues, southern rock, and country. His 2016 album release, Blues Heart Attack, reached No. 5 in the Billboard Blues Albums Chart.
6:45-8:00 The Lazy Wayne Band
The Lazy Wayne Band is a country band from the state of Kansas that is currently playing over 160 shows a year from the Atlantic coast to the Rocky Mountains, with sounds that range from the classic country to the southern rock edge that fans across the Red Dirt & Texas Country Music Scenes have learned to love.
8:00-9:30 Clare Dunn
Clare Dunn is an American country musician from southeast Colorado After support from Sirius XM, she signed with Universal Music Group Nashville and BMG. She has opened for many notable country acts such as Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Hank Williams Jr., and Trace Adkins.
