10:30 AM is Crowning of grand marshal. 2:00 PM the parade begins. Garin Nolan and friends will play at the Elks before and after the parade. Theme this year is Show Your Irish. There will be a pub crawl at 4 pm.
Join us for a day of events in downtown Atchison. Santa Claus will be visiting from the North Pole. Horse drawn carriage rides, fun for kids of all ages, ending the evening with our lighted Christmas parade.
Join us on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to celebrate the life and accomplishments of the Reverand while we commit to racial justice and encouraging a diverse community.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each category will be announced after the parade at the Elk's Club. Entry form can be picked up at the Atchison Area Chamber of Commerce. Forms due by March 1st.
