The Muddy River Music Festival has multiple stages set up along the beautiful riverfront in Atchison, allowing music to play continuously throughout the day. The Muddy River Music Festival has grown every year since its inception in 2017, offering a variety of music from blues to country to rock in a multi-stage, riverfront park venue.
Based out of Kansas City, Missouri, Pop Skull Rebels is a 5-man band that specializes in Old-school County and Rockabilly music. They have opened for a number of acts such as Junior Brown, The Smithereens, Reverand Horton Heat, Big Sandy, Tommy TuTone, The Messer Chups, Hillbilly Casino, Chuck Mead, Headcat, Nek+romantix, Bones Owens, Split Lip Rayfield, Gary Myrick, Laid Back Country Picker, and more.
The Kaw Tikis are an instrumental band from Lawrence, Kansas that excel in instrumental Surf-Rock covers of all your favorite hits from the 50s & 60s.
Local band Soca Jukebox's two-person sub-group Soca Duo will wow the crowd with their steel drums and Island-Rock renditions of popular songs across a variety of genres such as Country, Reggae, and Rock.
Big Luke & The Soul Disciples make music to lift your spirits performing within a wide range of genres such as R&B, Jazz, Country, Mo-Town, and more! In 2023, they were winners of the Kansas City Blues Society's "Road to Memphis" Blues Challenge.
A hit at last year's Porchfest, Platonic Sandal is a band consisting of locally based BC students with a passion for classic and 90s rock music.
